Champs Dethroned At Horsemen's Tourney

While both Georgian Downs and Team Paralyzer made it to their respective finals in the 2011 Horsemen's Hockey Tournament at the Western Fair Sports Complex, neither team was able to retain its title

Dave Green's team won the Oldtimer's final defeating the 2010 champions from Georgian Downs. The winning goal came from the stick of Joey Wassilyn.

In the Open finals, Hudon's Hurricanes gained revenge on J.R. Plante's 2010 champions Team Paralyzer. After falling to them 5-3 in the round-robin, the team put together by trainer/driver Pat Hudon scored the winner with only 20 seconds remaining in a 6-5 thriller.
