G Momma rolled to her third straight victory in Wednesday’s Mary Wohlmuth Memorial Trot at The Meadows while Mystical Melody captured her second consecutive win in the series for three and four-year-old fillies and mares.

The pair will square off in the series championship, which, along with the final legs of three other current Meadows series, is set for Friday, March 28. First post that day is 6:55 p.m.

G Momma was sitting third when Mike Wilder moved her uncovered before the half. The 1-2 favourite scored in 1:57.4, a length better than Hierarchy. Boos Party Girl closed for third. Paul Corey trains G Momma, a four-year-old daughter of SJs Caviar-Strike Ten, for Howard Kaufman, Joshua Kaufman and William Eltzroth.

Mystical Melody made a similar first-over move for Dave Palone with similar results, as she drew away to prevail by five and three-quarter lengths in 1:58.2. Mina rallied from last for second while Regal Dynamite completed the ticket. Clay Faurot Jr. conditions Mystical Melody, a four-year-old daughter of Muscle Mass-Winning Tribute who was bothered and broke stride in the opening Wohlmuth leg, for Chelsey Wibert.
