Tells On A Roll resumed her winning ways for the Cullen stable on the mid-March Friday evening program at Woodbine Mohawk Park with the $36,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Handicap class filling for the first time in five weeks.

After starting the season with three straight Preferred wins before the layoff, Tells On A Roll was sent postward as the overwhelming 1-5 favourite back in to go on Friday. The four-year-old Tellitlikeitis mare crossed to command from the outer wing of the gate before the first turn for driver/co-owner Travis Cullen and never looked back, setting fractions of :27.2, :56.3 and 1:24.4 en route to a comfortable victory in 1:51.4. Western Wish (Tyler Jones), who left inside the winner at the start and landed the pocket spot, chased 1-1/2 lengths behind in second while Wildcat Star (Trevor Henry) followed in third.

Cullen owns Tells On A Roll with his father Ron and their partner Paul Sanders while his mother Jodie handles the training duties. Perfect in four races to start the year, the Indiana champion has banked $72,000 so far in her aged campaign and is being pointed to the Roses Are Red Stakes and Milton Stakes at Mohawk.

She returned $2.50 to win at the betting windows.
