Muscle Dynasty flexed his muscles as he won his third consecutive $25,000 Open Handicap Trot at Bally's Dover on Tuesday evening (March 14).

Northern Express blasted off the car, leading the field to the opening quarter in :28.2. Muscle Dynasty, driven by Corey Callahan, advanced and cleared to the top just past the quarter. As the field reached the half in :56.4, they remained single file. Embrace The Grind was the first off the rail on a first-over trip and JL Cruze followed his cover. However, the outer flow was no match to overtake the leading favourite Muscle Dynasty, who maintained a 1-1/2 length advantage to the three-quarters in 1:26.2. Northern Express (Russell Foster) made one last attempt in the stretch to catch the leader, but was bested by 2-1/2 lengths in 1:55.3 by Muscle Dynasty. Quicksilvr Bluechip (Victor Kirby) was third.

Shea Lare trains Muscle Dynasty, a five-year-old Muscle Hill gelding, for owner Frank Chick.

Driver Mike Cole and trainer Joe Columbo teamed up for four wins on the card. Tim Tetrick drove three winners.

Racing continues on Wednesday (March 15) at Bally's Dover with the $25,000 Mares Open Pace as the feature race. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
