A report by wetmtv.com states that Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell has a plan which would see the implementation of video poker machines generate revenue for students to go to college.

The machines are currently illegal in the state, but Rendell's plan, if approved, would see a maximum of five machines installed in establishments that hold liquor licenses. The report states that the revenue generated from the machines would help offset tuition costs for thousands of Pennsylvania college students. Students whose family income is less than $100,000 would be eligible.
