Corey Callahan continues his hot hand driving five winners including Big Bad Bosley to victory in the $16,500 feature race at Dover Downs on Sunday, Feb. 14

.

Despite Callahan's prolonged absence from driving during the twin 'Nor'easters' that shut down racing for more than a week, the track's leading driver showed no effects as Big Bad Bosley made his local debut a winning one. Callahan won for the fifth time during the card racking up a strong 1:54.1 triumph in the $16,500 4&5-Year-Old pace. For owners Scott Dillon and Scot Pushard, the Cams Card Shark-Scarletas Dream gelding has won twice in three starts this year. Big Bad Bosley took on race-leading Break My Art (Tony Morgan) on the backstretch with the pair raced as a team until deep stretch when Big Bad Bosley took over. It was the second win for trainer Josh Green.

Outahere Hanover had just enough to hold off Enjoy The View (Ross Wolfenden) in the final strides for a 1:56.3 score in one of two $14,000 4&5-Year-Old Mares paces. Brad Hanners drove the Cams Card Shark-On Her Way four-year-old for Keith Murray and trainer Jason Skinner. Tiamat (Allan Davis) picked up third money.

In the other $14,000 section, Jim Morand left smartly with Miami Diva N from post 8 to get the lead just past the opening panel and then never looked back guiding the Presidential Ball-Miami Falcon five-year-old to a 1:56.2 win. Lady McGee (Ross Wolfenden) was runner-up with Red Light N Blue (Tony Morgan) the third-place finisher. Miami Diva N won her fourth-in-a-row to remain unbeaten since arriving from New Zealand for Vicki Givens, Arlene Paisley and Sharon White.

It was a second win for all three owners, Morand and trainer Wayne Givens. Their other victory came when Hoof It N overtook I Wanna Race (Corey Callahan) in the finals strides to win an $11,500 4&5-Year-Old Male pace.

Driver Bad Hanners' second win came piloting Gary Minner and Pete Richardson's Sharkey Osborne from four-wide turning for home to catching front pacing Still Chugging (Eric Goodell) in the final stride for a long-nose 1:54.4 victory in a $12,500 Male pace. The Horse of the Meet two seasons ago, Sharky Osborne, won for the second straight time giving trainer Josh Green his third winner on the program. Fields of Honour A (Eddie Davis Jr.) was the show horse.

In addition to Callahan's five wins, Brad Hanners, Jim Morand and Vince Copeland had driving doubles.

Monday through Thursday live harness racing begins at 4:30 p.m. Dover Downs will be dark on Friday. Saturday and Sunday post time is 5:30 p.m.
