The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame will be hosting a family holiday celebration craft event on Saturday, Dec. 16, for children ages three to 12, to ring in the season.
The event will run from from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Museum & Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main Street in Goshen, New York.
Attendees can walk through the Museum & Hall of Fame's decorated stable, take photos in a “one horse open sleigh,” make horse and tree ornaments, play games and enjoy light refreshments. Each child will receive a small toy while supplies last. Attendees can top off their visit with a ride on the Harness Racing Simulator. The cost is $10 per child and parents are free. Reservations are not accepted.
Celtic Valley Carriages will be providing carriage rides from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. behind the Museum for a nominal fee, weather permitting.
