Dennis R. Robinson announced Friday that as of January 2, 2012 he will no longer serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA)

Robinson, who has been with the NJSEA since December 2007, will become CEO of The Grand Prix of America, a new Formula One race coming to New Jersey in 2013.

“Dennis Robinson served the Sports Authority and the State with distinction during his tenure at the NJSEA," said Governor Chris Christie in a press release. "His leadership and management were a critical part of implementing the recommendations of the Hanson Commission as we move toward a self sustaining, economically viable sports industry and a redefined role for the NJSEA."
