On Tuesday (Nov. 8) at The Raceway at the Western Fair District, Katie MacNeil picked up her first career training win in just her second attempt.

The training win came courtesy Mr John and driver Tyler Borth, who took advantage of a pocket trip in the evening's fifth race to score in 1:57.4 by a length and a half over pacesetter State Of Treasure (Travis Henry).

MacNeil trains Mr John, a four-year-old son of Shadow Play-Barks Like A Dog for John Philpott and Dr. Trevin Shive of Nova Scotia. The win was the eighth lifetime for the pacing gelding.
