Trot Insider has learned that one of this season's most impressive two-year-olds will be missing from Saturday night's stakes-packed card at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

Trainer Ron Burke told Trot Insider that pacing colt Somestarsomewhere has been scratched from Saturday's $534,500 Governor's Cup after he popped a curb training. The Somebeachsomewhere-Lovely Assistant colt was assessed as the 3-1 second choice to stablemate Jk Endofanera on the morning line. Burke also sends out 10-1 shot Carracci Hanover.

Somestarsomewhere won four of his 10 starts, which included a 1:49.4 world record performance for freshman pacing colts on a five-eighth-mile track in his Breeders Crown elimination at Pocono Downs. He finished third in the final to push his career bankroll to $137,137. Just prior to the Breeders Crown, Somestarsomewhere took a mark of 1:49.2 in the International Stallion Stakes at The Red Mile in track record time.

Somestarsomewhere is owned by Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC, Michelle Yanek, and Lawrence Karr.
