It was a productive Monday evening at the office for trainer Chris Lancaster thanks a three-win performance on the nine-race card at Fraser Downs.
Lancaster, an Airdrie, Alta. horseman, got the ball rolling with Ima Momas Boy (1:55.3) in Race 3. He came right back in Race 4 with Outlaw What If CC (1:55.2) and then capped off his evening by taking Race 7 with Rollin Withholly A (1:54.1).
Lancaster is now just two wins away from equalling a personal best for the most wins in a single season. He currently sits with 63 compared to the 65-win campaign he enjoyed in 2019. The career winner of 241 races is less than $1,500 away from reaching the $2 million mark in lifetime earnings.
