Aside from qualifiers, no horses in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll raced last week, resulting in no changes with Confederate leading in the Week 24 edition of the rankings released on Tuesday, Nov. 21. This marks the 14th consecutive week Confederate has ranked No. 1.
Seven of the horses in the Top 10 will be in action on Saturday at The Meadowlands in the FanDuel Championships and Fall Four stakes finals: Confederate, Tactical Approach, Bythemissal, Karl, Tattoo Artist, Jiggy Jog S and Bond.
The final Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll will be released on Nov. 28 following the completion of the Grand Circuit season.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine U.S. Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
