After upsetting the favourite in each of her preliminary leg assignments, Saint Antoine finally got top respect from the Woodbine Mohawk Park faithful in Monday’s $45,700 Harvest Series Final.

In rein to Scott Young, Saint Antoine shot to the top from Post 5 and never looked back en route to a popular score.  The three-year-old daughter of Kadabra-Resortful chopped out fractions of :28.2, :57 and 1:25.2 before using a closing panel of :29 to win by 2-3/4 lengths over Hershey Seelster in 1:54.2.  Angelwithattitude was third.

Sent off as the 1-5 choice, the Brian Lee trainee improved her seasonal record to 4-4-3 from 20 trips to the track.  The career winner of $89,591 is owned by Saulsbrook Stables Inc and Ed Gorc.

In other Monday evening action, Wishyoudtellme was a driving away winner in the first of two divisions of the Pop Up Series for trotters.

Austin Sorrie got away third with the Mitch Tierney trainee while Dawson Springs marched to the top and laid down first-half fractions of :29.1 and :59.2.  Sorrie moved Wishyoudtellme first over past the mid-way point, and in the blink of an eye the gelding brushed to the top.  He rolled the group to the three-quarter pole in 1:27.4 before using a :28.4 kicker to win by three-quarters of a length over favourite Southwind Caesar in 1:56.3.  Victor Invictus took home third prize.

Triple S Equine of Newton, Ont. owns the six-year-old son of Wishing Stone-Time To Tell who now owns a 5-3-6 record from 34 starts this year.  The 18-time winner has banked over $160,000 to date.

Never Mind N was a going away winner in the $15,000 second division for the tandem of driver James MacDonald and trainer Carmen Auciello.

The nine-year-old son of Muscle Mass-Ashlyn CR marched to the lead from Post 3 and never looked back.  He led through fractions of :29, :58.1 and 1:26.3 before scooting home in :28.3 to win by 5-1/4 lengths over Aworldly Goodtimes in 1:55.1.  Kiss An Angel rounded out the Trifecta ticket.

M T Stables Inc of Scarborough, Ont. owns the gelding who won for the fourth time this season and for the 16th time in his career.  He’s now stashed away more than $160,000 in lifetime earnings.
