Breeders Crown weekend added significantly to a number of stables atop the leaderboard in the 2022 TROT Magazine Fantasy Stable contest.

The TROT Fantasy Stable Contest is based on total earnings of selected horses and five percent of the earnings of selected trainers and drivers between May 27 and Dec. 31, 2022.

For the purposes of the fantasy bankroll, the winners (horses only) of the 2022 Breeders Crown Finals will each receive a $200,000 contest bankroll bonus. Also, in the two-year-old categories, contestants were allowed to select two horses.

At the end of the year, the winner of the contest will receive entry into and travel to the 2023 World Harness Handicapping Championship, a prize valued at (approx) $1,300.

Contest totals are updated daily at 11:00 a.m. (EDT).

The COSA Fantasy Stable Contest, which has prizes for the top 20 finishers, and carries a Grand Prize worth approximately $4,000, runs from May 22, 2022 through the end of the OSS Super Finals.

Congratulations to Marlene Fisher of Freelton, On., whose Harness History stable boasted the highest bankroll over the 2022 harness racing season. Fisher's $3.67 million-plus stable handily topped Randy Proud's Proud Stable ($3.27 million), Shane Courbier's Courbier Racing ($3.24 million), husband Paul Fisher's PJ3796 ($3.21 million) as well as 836 other competitors, to win the grand prize.

Brought to you by the Central Ontario Standardbred Association, and administered by TROT Magazine and Standardbred Canada, the fantasy pool is based on the 2022 OSS season, and Ontario-sired two and three-year-olds based on their overall earnings for the year through the contest period.
