The 2022/2023 harness racing season at Bally's Dover Downs will begin this Monday, Oct. 31 (Halloween) and run through Thursday, March 30.
Dover Downs will conduct an 83-day meet and race Monday through Thursday with a 4:30 p.m. post time.
Down Downs will be dark on Dec. 20 through Dec. 26 with live harness racing returning on Dec. 27.
The Matron Stakes will return to the five-eighth mile oval in Dover, Delaware. All two-year-old eligibles will compete on Thursday, Nov. 3 and all three-year-old eligibles will compete on Thursday, Nov. 10.
Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund Stakes for two and three-year-olds will also be featured through November and December.
Qualifying races will be on Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
The draw schedule for the live racing meet will be as follows:
- Monday - Thursday
- Tuesday - Monday
- Wednesday - Tuesday
- Thursday - Wednesday
The box closes at 12 noon.
