According to a report, the RockHammer corporation, which is hoping to build a casino complex in Hamilton, would consider submitting a bid to operate a gaming complex at Flamboro Downs.
The news comes courtesy of an article by The Hamilton Spectator.
In the report, RockHammer spokesperson Mark McSporran is cited as saying that the corporation fully intends on taking part in the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp.’s call for gaming proposals for the area.
In regard to the Flamboro option, McSporron, a former senior manager with the OLG, was quoted as saying, "As long as it makes sense to us when the numbers are run, then absolutely we're going to look at any scenario."
