Rockwood, Ontario-based trainer Bill Companion purchased three yearlings at sales last fall. One of those now-two-year-olds will be racing in an Ontario Sires Stakes event tonight at Mohawk Racetrack, while the other will

be putting its best hoof forward on Monday.

Undercover Strike will contest an OSS Gold elimination tonight at Mohawk Racetrack, while Companion's other youngster, Enchantment, will be looking to capture her first OSS Gold final on Monday, October 18 over the Campbellville oval.

Although he has earned $28,400 so far this year, Undercover Strike is winless in his five lifetime starts. Companion is certain that his best days are ahead of the son of Striking Sahbra.

"Undercover Strike is definitely faster (than Enchantment). He's got more raw speed and can go faster. I think both horses will do well next year in the Open stakes (in Canada)," Companion said during an interview with the Woodbine Entertainment Group.

Undercover Strike, who was a $17,000 yearling purchase, is owned by Common Sense Stable, Kor Stable Limited and Blair Corbeil.

Angus Hall filly Enchantment has won two OSS Gold eliminations this year, but has made two costly miscues in both finals.

A $20,000 yearling purchase, Enchantment has won $50,000 this season from six starts. She will be looking to capture the lion's share of the $130,000 purse Monday night. She will start from Post 3 for owners Common Sense Stable and Kor Stable Limited.

Keith Oliver is listed to steer both horses.
