The first of five 2010 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale sessions took place Wednesday night at the Fasig-Tipton Sale Pavilion in Lexington, Kentucky with Simply Business garnering the highest bid of the day at $350,000
.
Selling as Hip 50, Simply Business was purchased by Jimmy Takter of East Windsor, New Jersey from the Hunterton Sales Agency. The bay Rocknroll Hanover colt is out of $1.6 million dollar winner Cathedra Dot Com.
A total of 94 yearlings were sold for over $7.3 million producing an average price of $78,340.
The sale continues on Thursday night at 7 p.m. featuring Hips 101 - 257.
