Long Touch Tops Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale

The eighth annual Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale is now complete. The sale, held Tuesday (Oct. 11) at the Champions Center Expo in Springfield, Ohio, featured a catalogue of 238 yearlings.

A total of 231 babies were sold, grossing $2.57 million and averaging $11,127.

Consigned by Dublin Valley Farm, agent for Troyer Farms, Long Touch, a Long Tom colt out of Upfront Carol, topped the sale with a bid of $75,000. He was purchased by Wayne Mast Jr. of Dundee, Ohio.
