A pair of tricky longshots to kick off the Pick-5 sequence made it tough for bettors on Wednesday (Jan. 17) evening, forcing a $6,103 Pick-5 carryover into the Saturday (Jan. 20) program.
The $1 wager starting in race six will boast an estimated pool of $40,000 and sports the player friendly 14 per cent takeout.
Post time for the 15-race program on Saturday is 6 p.m. MGM Northfield Park currently races four evenings a week on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
