Comments

If he were to breed a few mares in the off season you could name your price and make another million or two on the track while doing a great service for the industry.
With artificial insemination there should be no reason to retire any horse to the breeding shed. Hasn't he already bred a few?

Unless Bulldog's connections can be talked to bringing him back to race next year after the breeding season, (which would be the greatest thing that has happened to harness racing in ages) it looks like he has 4 races left in his career: The Dayton Derby, on Saturday, The Allerage, at The Red Mile, on 10/9, The Breeder's Crown, (which will be his final race on Canadian soil) on 10/29, and The TVG, at The Meadowlands, on 11/26. It's also possible that he could race on 10/22, if The Breeders Crown requires eliminations, and on 11/10, in The Potomac Pace, at Rosecroft.
