Cantkeepmiasecret gave Jenn Bongiorno the 1,000th training win of her career by taking the seventh race on Thursday night (Sept. 22) at Yonkers Raceway.

The four-year-old Cantab Hall mare took control nearing the :58.3 half for driver Jason Bartlett and held sway after that to prevail in 1:56.2. It was the second straight triumph at the oval for Cantkeepmiasecret after she dead-heated for top honours back on Sept. 8.

Bongiorno, last year's leading trainer at Yonkers, currently sits fourth in the standings this year. During her training career, her charges have earned over $17.3 million.

Yonkers Raceway is currently racing on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday live schedule with post time each night at 6:55 p.m.
