Driver Colin Kelly used his hot hands to steer five winners on the 10-race card at Georgian Downs on Saturday, Aug. 31.

Kelly started the card with Next Issue ($9.70), who popped pocket to win by a neck in 1:57.1. A few races later he wired his competition with Honor Above All ($13.60) in 1:57.3 and followed that with another pocket-popping score but instead with American Assassin ($9.40), who won by less than a length in 1:55.1. Kelly capped the evening by sweeping the late double with Easy Flyer ($7.30)—who ripped from off the pace to win in 1:54.2—and Conflict Diamond ($7.30)—who won going wire to wire by four-and-a-half lengths in 1:54.2.

The card was the final one of the 2019 season for Georgian Downs as live harness racing shifts to Flamboro Downs on Tuesday (Sept. 3).
