Herve Kirouac Passes

Trot Insider has learned that horseman Herve Kirouac passed away Saturday, September 3 at his home in Sherbrooke, Quebec at the age of 88

.

Kirouac began his harness racing career in Sherbrooke and when on to race horses in Montreal, Trois Rivieres and Quebec City.

He was the proud owner of Big John, who finished second in the 1964 Hambletonian.

He was the father of sons Herve Jr. and Marc, and the grandfather of Victora (11) and Sandrine (10).
