The 'I Love Canadian Harness Racing' Fan Club Team will be taking part in the Canadian Country Music Association’s FanFest event at Jackson’s Square in Hamilton tomorrow (Saturday, September 10) as part of
Country Music Week.
This is a part of the partnership between Standardbred Canada and the Canadian Country Music Association.
FanFest, a large fan appreciation event, is among a number of events the CCMA has co-ordinated during Country Music Week (September 9-12) in Hamilton, Ont.
FanFest will kick off at 11:00 a.m. and will continue through to 3:00 p.m. on the rooftop of the Jackson Square Mall in downtown Hamilton.
Fanfest performers include Gord Bamford, Victoria Banks, Jason Blaine, Dean Brody, Chad Brownlee, George Canyon, Terri Clark, Doc Walker, High Valley, Charlie Major, One More Girl, Tara Oram, Aaron Pritchett, Deric Ruttan and Michelle Wright.
This free event not only features performances from some of Canada's top country artists, but also autograph and photo opportunities with the stars themselves. For a complete line up of the day’s events, click here.
The Fan Club Team, including 'Stoney,' a retired standardbred that has become an ambassador for harness racing, will offer giveaways from local tracks, promo items and prize draws, including a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Country Music Awards (which will take place on Monday, September 12 at Copps Coliseum) and a Night at the Harness Races.
