Officials with the Meadows have announced that the track has been forced to cancel its Thursday, September 8 card of live racing
.
The cancellation has come due to the track continuing to repair damage to the racing surface caused by heavy, persistent rain.
The Meadows will remain open for simulcasting.
Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday, September 9 with a first-race post time of 6:55 p.m.
