The live harness racing card at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park has been cancelled tonight due to the storm impacting PEI.

Hurricane Earl is causing scattered power outages, high winds and heavy rain as it approaches the region.

The decision was made when Red Shores' management consulted with harness racing industry representatives and horsemen. No make-up date has been announced.
