HPItv has announced that it will carry the $550,000 World Trotting Derby from the DuQuoin State Fair in Illinois on Saturday afternoon, beginning at 5 p.m. (E.T.)

.

Muscle Hill, who is undefeated this season and fresh off a dominant 1:52.3 victory in the American National at Balmoral Park, is the prohibitive favourite for driver Brian Sears and trainer Greg Peck.

Many observers have speculated that Muscle Hill could become the first trotter to break the 1:50 barrier on a mile track. The son of Muscles Yankee has won 14 straight races and sits poised to surpass $2 million in earnings on Saturday.

Muscle Hill has drawn Post 6 in the nine-horse field and has been installed as the 3-5 morning line choice.

The World Trotting Derby will be carried as a special, non-wagering event.
