Mark Miller Passes

Horseman Mark Miller passed away on August 26 at the age of 62.

Miller was born March 24, 1952, to Herbert and Barbara Joyce Miller. He was a 1971 graduate of Cedarville High School.

Miller was an avid horseman and devoted most of his life to the sport. In the late 1970s and early 1980s he was a leading driver in the Chicago area. Miller also raced at Lebanon Raceway and Scioto Downs.

He loved golfing, camping, fishing, searching for Indian artifacts and relaxing on the farm.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Jason and Amy; granddaughters, Cheyenne and Sydney Cook; sister, Lorry (Tom) Larose; brother, Ronnie; and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matt.

Private services are being held at Littleton and Rue in Springfield.
