With a carryover in excess of $6,000, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has announced a $20,000 Guaranteed Hoosier High-5 pool for Friday evening.
In partnership with the Unites States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering program and the Indiana Standardbred Association, Hoosier Park will offer this signature wager for the action packed 13-race card on Friday that is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday’s 14-race card was primarily ruled by longshots finding the winner’s circle over a good rated track after heavy rains earlier in the day. The Pick-5 also went unsolved resulting in a $2,698.25 carryover for Friday.
The Hoosier High-5, also known as the Pentafecta, is featured in the last race of every program at Hoosier Park and features a reduced takeout of 12%. With a 20-cent minimum wager, the Hoosier High-5 is responsible for the season’s second biggest payout to date with a $12,775.94 winning ticket paid out last week.

Friday’s 13-race card will be highlighted by two divisions of Indiana Sires Stakes eliminations for the three-year-old pacing colts. Live racing at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will follow a Tuesday through Saturday schedule and be conducted through November 10.
