Monticello's publicity department has cited Tim Gordon, the executive director of the fund which oversees the New York Sire Stakes program, as saying that the $12,200 purse for the unraced New York Sires Stakes late-closing pace will be divided equally among the seven entrants, but no NYSS points will be added to each of the starters' seasonal resumes.
