On Friday, the buzz and excitement leading up to the 52nd running of the Sobeys Gold Cup & Saucer got a little louder.
Red Shores has announced a guaranteed $10,000 pool for its Pick-4 (Race 11 - 14) on Saturday, August 20 at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Players will be taking their best shot on the final four for one night only with fields of horses packed with talent, speed and excitement. HPI, ExpressBet, Twinspires, Global Wagering Solutions and America’s ADW customers can join the action.
The promotion is sponsored by HPI, Standardbred Canada, Prince Edward Island Horse Owners Association and the Prince Edward Island Harness Racing Industry Association.
The final four races on Gold Cup and Saucer program will comprise the late Pick-4 wager and will be offered in their entirety on HPItv. The late Pick-4 will also offer a guaranteed pool of $10,000.
The four races making up the late Pick-4 on Saturday night are the Gold Cup and Saucer consolation, the Papermaker Invitational, Spud Island Classic for older pacing mares and the $60,000 Gold Cup and Saucer final.
HPItv will air a Pick-4 preview on Friday and Saturday in the lead up to the main event.
