With a carry-over of $7,223.86, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has announced a $25,000 guaranteed Hoosier High-5 pool in the last race on Friday evening (July 6).

In partnership with the Unites States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering program and the Indiana Standardbred Association, Hoosier Park will offer this signature wager for the action packed 14-race card on Friday that is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Friday’s 14-race card will feature the $142,000 Nadia Lobell Stakes for three-year-old pacing fillies. A field of eight is set to line up behind the gate in the fifth race on the program. Wisdom Tree, from the barn of Jeff Cullipher, has been enlisted as the 8-5 morning line choice. With six wins from eight starts this season, Wisdom Tree will start from post 3 with Sam Widger in the bike. The evening’s program will also feature the second round of $75,000 Indiana Sires Stakes Finals for the three-year-old trotting and pacing colts.

The Hoosier High-5, also known as the pentafecta, is featured in the last race of every program at Hoosier Park with a 20-cent minimum wager and features a reduced takeout of 12%. The Hoosier High-5 is responsible for the biggest payout of the 2017 season with a $23,540.26 winning ticket paid out in early May.
