Horse Racing New Brunswick will present the $5,000 Kelti Burnett Memorial Pace as part of its 10-race card this Friday (August 1) at Connell Park in Woodstock.
The Kelti Burnett Memorial Pace (Race 10) has attracted a field of six. First-race post time is 7 p.m.
Darth Bader, who is trained by Ed Harvey for his co-owner Kathy MacLean, has drawn Post 1. Gilles Barrieau has been called on to perform the driving duties. Joseph Michael, a fan favourite in the provincial racing circle, will start from Post 2 with pilot Todd Trites. Joseph Michael is owned by Andrea Dolan of Lower Cambridge and Valerie Phelan of Geary, NB.
Young trainer Jonah Moase, a big supporter of Maritime racing, along with his dad, Neal, will have Lyndale Royal starting from Post 3 for Dale Spence. Dance Hanover, another popular NB-owned pacer, will start for Stephen Trites and the Ultimate Stable.
Grimsby will start from Post 5 for owners Stefan Decourcey, Ronald D Fowlie and Sara Mh Burns.
Ed Harvey will pilot American Terror from Post 6.
Corey Ford again has been kind enough to sponsor the main event. All 10 races have been sponsored and Horse Racing New Brunswick would like to thank them for their support.
