Thomas Horner Passes

Horseman Thomas E. Horner, 83, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 22.

Horner was born in Rogersville, Tenn., on January 12, 1933, to the late Carmel and Blanche Horner.

He was a longtime member of the USTA and was a driver/trainer of Standardbreds.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas Jr. (Brenda), Glen (Judy), Bruce, and Alan (Anna); daughter, Cindy (Bryan) Denniston; grandchildren, Pam, Matt, Brad, David, Bruce, Abby, Mandy, Samantha, Jake, Cassie, and Joey; brother, Charles; sister, Imogene Gulley; and several other relatives and special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randolph; sister, Edna Smith; and granddaughter, Janet.

The family would like to thank his granddaughter, Pam Baker, for the care she provided him.
