SC Youth Council Partners With Country Heritage Park

The Standardbred Canada Youth Council will take part in Country Heritage Park’s Farm and Country Days on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 to promote harness racing.

Council members will staff the Trot4Kids and 'I Love Canadian Harness Racing' Fan Club booths and also have a four-legged standardbred ambassador on hand to meet and greet the guests.

Country Heritage Park is located near Mohawk Racetrack. The event takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and features the following activities for the family to have fun on the farm:

  • Tractor-drawn wagon rides
  • See the farm animals --- sheep, cows, horses (and a special guest standardbred)
  • Visit and explore the children's playground
  • Exhibits and historical buildings open
  • See over 130 antique tractors and steam engines
  • Free parking, and feel free to bring your own picnic lunch

Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children. Children aged five years of age and under are free. There is a family admission package available for $22.
