With a sire and dam both holding track records at Woodbine Mohawk Park / Mohawk Racetrack over the course of their careers, rookie pacer Wheres My Money should feel right at home crossing the wire first at the Campbellville, Ont. oval.

Mohawk hosted a septet of qualifiers on Friday (July 20) with five of those carded exclusively for the rookies. Wheres My Money wasn't making his first appearance of the season -- it was in fact, his fourth -- but the colt showed signs of his pedigree with a solid gate-to-wire score in 1:56.1 for driver Doug McNair and trainer Scott McEneny.

A son of Somebeachsomewhere (Mohawk track record holder as a two-year-old) and A Ps Money Maker (Mohawk track record holder as an older pacing mare), Wheres My Money was a $30,000 Harrisburg yearling purchase by McEneny and Martwest Racing Stable with breeder Joe Tinelli also retaining part ownership.
