The Lakeshore Horse Racing Association will be holding an open public meeting on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Royal Canadian Legion 594, 5030 Howard Avenue, Tecumseh, Ont.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and represents an opportunity for horse people to be actively involved in planning for the 2014 racing season.
The board is looking for ideas on how to build on the success of the 2013 season. A number of committees will be formed to address marketing, fundraising and racing related issues. The success of the program depends on the involvement of those that participate in racing.
