Bring A Friend continues today (Sunday, July 16), ending the promotion with a BANG! Six racetracks across the country, including Truro Raceway, Century Downs Racetrack & Casino, Clinton Raceway and Rideau Carleton Raceway, are pulling out all the stops to offer an exciting day at the races!
Truro Raceway’s afternoon card will kick off at 1:00 p.m. and the track will be celebrating its BAF day with a commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of Horse Racing in Canada. The track has organized prize draws for guests to get in on along with a special food discount!

Century Downs Racetrack & Casino, located just outside of Calgary, Alberta, will be hosting the BAF promotion for the third straight year with live racing starting at 1:10 p.m. The track has planned a beginner handicapping workshop before the races, as well as draws for rides in the starting gate car! All BAF guests that sign up for a Winner’s Zone card will receive a coupon for 50 per cent off any menu item in the Mid-City Grill. If you are still hungry, check out the Starting Gate Food Truck that will be open for business all day!

Clinton Raceway will open its gates at noon for a 1:30 p.m. post time. The first 30 BAF guests will receive a free program and $2 betting voucher. A draw for a winner’s circle presentation has been organized, as well as a prize draw for a Clinton Raceway t-shirt, hat and $10 betting voucher. Clinton will also be supporting the Epilepsy Foundation through a special fundraiser. Catch the Super Sunday Show on the tarmac between races to take part in the games, prizes and fun!

Georgian Downs will host its BAF event this evening (July 16) with a post time of 6:00 p.m. Sign in at the on-site registration table to be entered into the prize draws for hats, t-shirts and other Georgian Downs swag!

Rideau Carleton Raceway in Gloucester, Ontario, will get things underway at 5:30 p.m. with the races starting at 6:30 p.m. The first 100 lucky guests will receive a free program, $2 betting voucher and tip sheet. Make sure you stop in at the driver Meet & Greet session to get an autograph from your favourite driver! Rideau has also organized different contests for the evening including draws for rides in the starting gate car and numerous prize packages.
