Congratulations to the 45 players that will move on to the fourth round of the Ontario Sires Stakes Survivor Challenge.
The fourth round will feature Race 1 at Mohawk Racetrack on Monday, July 15 --- an $18,000 OSS Grassroots event for two-year-old trotting colts. All 'surviving' players will be sent an email today with a link to the entry form for Monday’s race. You must enter by 6:00 p.m. (EST) on Monday.
One hundred and sixty-four Fan Club Members signed up for the OSS Survivor Challenge and 96 players survived Round 1, which was Race 9 at Mohawk Racetrack on Friday, July 5, an OSS Gold event for two-year-old trotting fillies.
Eighty-six players successfully selected a top-three finisher in the second round, which was Race 6 at Kawartha Downs on July 6, an OSS Grassroots event for two-year-old trotting fillies.
In the third round, 45 players were able to select a top-three finisher, which was Race 8 at Rideau Carleton on July 11. It was a Gold event for two-year-old pacing fillies. The 45 remaining entries will advance to Round 4.
All players that correctly select a top-three finisher in the fourth round will advance to the fifth round on Friday, July 15. Those players can expect an email on Wednesday, July 17 and will be asked to select two races over the weekend due to scheduling.
This will continue for the duration of the contest, so it’s important for players to stay updated with the contest, as selections will be required each week from players who stay 'alive' and move on to the next round.
The winning player will receive a tote bag with $50 worth of 'I Love Canadian Harness Racing' swag and $50 in OSS swag.
