Hipp. De Quebec Racing Twice A Week

Beginning on Saturday, July 16, the Hippodrome de Quebec will offer twice as much fun to its racing fans, as two cards of live racing will be scheduled every week

. The Saturday and Sunday programs will hold a 1:00 p.m. first-race post time.

Although, there will be a short break from August 7 through September 3 to allow the presentation of the Expo Quebec (agricultural exhibition). Live horse racing will then resume every Saturday and Sunday until September 25.

Declarations for the Saturday cards will close on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. Declarations for the Sunday cards will close on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.

This Saturday (July 16), the four and five-year-old horses will be back on track to compete once again in a Quebec-bred Series event. Beach Runner A M, Sans Frontiere, Herbie Drummond and company, which thrilled the public last week, will take up the challenge, although it will be time for some participants to try to avenge recent defeats.

This Sunday (July 17) will see two-year-old pacing fillies and colts take part in a Quebec-bred Series event for the first time. The fans in attendance will again see Serie Noire and La Belle Aventure, both of whom were victorious in their first career starts.
