Two-Day Box At Running Aces

Published: June 29, 2015 03:02 pm EDT

Officials with Running Aces have announced that the track has instituted a ‘two-day box’ for the foreseeable future, meaning entries for live race programs are due just two days prior to the card.

In addition, the closing deadline time for entries has been changed to 9 a.m. (CST); and driver changes will be due immediately following each draw (at approximately noon).

Final program pages will be available to all simulcast outlets by 2 p.m. (CST) two days prior to each live race date.

Via release, the track has stated that the changes will make it possible for Running Aces to continue to provide competitive racing for both its horsemen and patrons.

“The new draw schedule, combined with ongoing tweaks to the condition sheet, should help to provide an equitable opportunity for all our participants as well as better betting boards for the wagering public,” explained the track’s director of racing, Gregg Keidel.

There will be no live racing at Running Aces on the 4th of July, thus the next draw is Friday, July 3 for the Sunday, July 5 program. The entry box will close at 9 a.m.
