The Ontario Racing Commission has issued a Notice to the Industry in regard to Kawartha Downs Ltd.’s request for a variance to the 2015 race date schedule at Kawartha Downs.
The Kawartha application states that the track is looking to add three race dates to its 2015 race date calendar.
The dates that Kawartha is looking to add are for three Saturdays in October (10, 17 and 24).
Kawartha is requesting that the first-race post time for the cards be 7 p.m.
The ORC will receive comments on the application from interested industry participants before making its decision on the application.
Input, comments or concerns must be received by July 3, 2015 to be considered and can be forwarded to the ORC as follows
