I'm really sorry to hear about the passing of Tony. My sympathies to Dominic and Gino. Tony was a serious player in our business. I can remember the night at the Kentucky Standardbred Sale within 20 hip numbers, he bought Riyadh, Presidential Ball and Lotta Soul.

Mr Chiaravalle was also kind enough to bring one of his best horses, Witsends Gypsy to Atlantic Canada in 1986. He equalled the track record at Champlain Raceway in 154.2, and set a new track record at Sackville Downs in 157.1. Needless to say, he had a great love for the sport and will be greatly missed by many.

This man invested tons of money and love for all of Harness Racing !!!! R.I.P. my friend.

Tony Chiaravalle brought standardbred racing to the forefront not only in Canada but the U.S also. Notably Presidential Ball was his claim to fame. His list of great horses is in the teens. Sorry for your loss and Thank you for my all time favourite horse Dream Maker
