Trot Insider has learned that there will be a qualifying session this weekend at Exhibition Park Raceway.
The EPR qualifying session will take place on Saturday (May 12) and will kick off at 2:00 p.m.
The entry box for the session will close on Friday (May 11) at 2:00 p.m.
It is important that horsepeople are aware that a Standardbred Canada field representative will be on hand to conduct business during the qualifying sessions.
Standardbred Canada would like to remind all horsepeople that all memberships and eligibility fees need to be paid. Additionally, name changes need to be made before a horse ever qualifies. Coggins tests are required as set out in the rules in your racing jurisdiction.

Additionally, if a horse’s $73 eligibility fee is not paid prior to it making its first start (in a race or qualifier), the horse will be suspended after its first outing in 2018, and the owner of the horse will then be invoiced (horses do not get a ‘free start’).
