Fans and horse owners are invited to watch the first round of the Meadowlands Racetrack's baby races this Saturday morning
(June 2).
The non-wagering events for two-year-olds will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will feature live race calls.
Breakfast items will be available for purchase at the Don Q Wedge concession stand every Saturday in June and July.
Paddock tours and children’s activities will be offered on four of the Saturdays (June 16 and 23, and July 7 and 21). No reservations are necessary to participate.
The entry box for baby races will close at 4:00 p.m. on Fridays. There is no participation fee for New Jersey-bred two-year-olds or two-year-olds staked to races at the Meadowlands. For all other two-year-olds, the fee is $100.
