Grand River Raceway has issued a reminder regarding an exception to its regular training schedule.
Please note that the track will be closed for training on Saturday, May 10 to accommodate an event presented by the Grand River Agricultural Society.
During the track’s regular schedule, training is allowed every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, with all horses vacated by 1 p.m. This schedule will remain in effect for the balance of the season, except by special notice.
Details of the track’s qualifying schedule and draw days will be released soon.
The 2014 season kicks off its 48-day meet on Monday, June 2 with the fifth annual Local Biz Night event.
