It was announced Monday that driver Dave Wall will be among this year’s inductees to the London Sports Hall of Fame. Mr OSS, as he’s affectionately known, will be honoured along with the NHLers Eric Lindros and Doug Jarrett at the induction ceremony

in the Carousel Room at Western Fair on November 3.

Also joining the London Sports Hall of Fame in 2011 will be soccer's Jason de Vos, stock car driver Harvey Lennox, volleyball sensation Paul Duerden, lawn bowler Ron Jones, distance runner George Orton, basketball and softball player Marion Clarke Knowles and the 1960 London Lords ORFU championship team.

Wall, who is currently on the sidelines recovering from injuries suffered in a spill last month at Western Fair Raceway, has captured some of racing’s greatest prizes including the North America Cup, the Canadian Pacing Derby and the Maple Leaf Trot, just to name a few. The Komoka, Ontario horseman is already a member of the Western Fair Raceway Wall of Fame, and it was announced late last week he’s made the ballot for consideration to the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame.

Wall, who has banked more than $1 million in earnings for 29 consecutive seasons, has reined in 7,115 winners and close to $60 million in lifetime earnings. He has been associated with a number of legendary performers including Goodtimes and Odies Fame.
