Hoosier Park will join the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering program with a $5,000 guaranteed Pick 4 beginning May 18 as well as offering a $20,000 guaranteed superfecta for the Dan Patch Invitational on May 28
.
Hoosier’s guaranteed Pick 4 will be Race 3 through 6 each Wednesday. First-race post time is 5:30 p.m. EDT, with the first leg of the Pick 4 scheduled for approximately 6:10 p.m.
The $20,000 guaranteed superfecta for the Dan Patch Invitational will be the USTA Strategic Wagering program’s first non-Pick 4 offering and will be an event highlighted at racetracks across the nation.
“We are extremely happy to partner with Hoosier Park on the prestigious Dan Patch Invitational to bring the fans and bettors a guaranteed superfecta pool,” said Chris Schick, a USTA director from California and chairman of the Strategic Wagering Committee. “Showcasing the sport’s top stakes races with guaranteed pools, nationwide post time coordination, and video-feed cross promotion, is a model of great interest to this committee.”
Hoosier Park joins USTA Strategic Wagering tracks Balmoral Park, Cal-Expo, Harrington Raceway, Maywood Park, the Meadows, Pocono Downs, Northfield Park and Yonkers Raceway.
