Scioto Downs will hold its first session of qualifying races on Friday, April 24 in preparation for its 2009 season, which begins on May 8
.
Horsemen are sponsoring the first qualifying session, which begins at 10:30 a.m.
Scioto Downs will conduct a safety drill immediately after the qualifiers on April 24.
Qualifiers will subsequently be held on May 1, May 6, and May 9 and on a regular Wednesday-Saturday schedule during the race meet.
Schooling sessions will be held after the qualifiers.
